This castle rests upon a gentle hill in the heart of the Chianti region, 1 hour far from Florence. It was built in the 11th century and, it was completely remodelled at the beginning of the 70s to transform it from a castle to a charming venue and a wine-producing farm surrounded by the beautiful vineyards of the area of Gaiole in Chianti with a wonderful view on the hills all around.
The estate offer refined accommodation in apartments and rooms both. There are two outdoor swimming pools, gardens with a stunning terrace overlooking the unspoiled panorama of the Chianti hills where guests can relax and enjoy their Tuscan experience. Wine cellars on the stone basement of the castle, offer the possibility to arrange wine and food tasting of typical local products.
Wedding ceremony can be set outside in the beautiful gardens or inside, in case of bad weather conditions, in the castle halls or in the stable. If bride and groom are looking for a religious ceremony there’s a lovely church near the castle that can host the wedding.
This venue reflects the real authentic spirit of the Chianti area: from there several guided tours towards the art cities and typical small towns or a walk through to the surrounding vineyards to discover wild plants and grapes can be arranged.
